Black Friday is one of the most important annual promotional events in Canada. For this campaign, the visual strategy was designed around different time-based deals, targeting various user groups at specific hours. The goal was to convert first-time shoppers into returning customers.
Since Lamour’s brand color is pink, I combined pink with black to visually echo the Black Friday theme while maintaining the brand’s identity. The campaign included both digital and print materials with consistent visual direction.

The Black Friday campaign was divided into two phases. The first phase, Early Access, targeted a smaller group of users and featured a bold, experimental visual style. Typography played a central role in the design, using strong contrast between black and pink as well as varied font sizes to create a striking and edgy look.
The second phase was open to all customer groups, so the visuals shifted to a more festive and welcoming tone. I used 3D inflated type, ribbons, and heart elements to convey a sense of celebration. Since the campaign ran for over a month, the website was designed in two alternating versions during this phase to keep the homepage visually fresh and encourage deeper user engagement.
Offline Materials


This offline design posed a unique challenge due to the inclusion of free gift promotions. The key was to highlight both the main discounts and the gift-with-purchase offer in a clear and engaging way. On the main poster, I placed a brief note about the free gift in the lower right corner to attract attention without overwhelming the primary message.
In addition, I designed a separate flyer dedicated to the gift promotion. It clearly outlined how customers could receive their free gift and was displayed near the checkout counter, ensuring all in-store customers could easily understand if they were eligible.
